Beacon Park

Opening in July 2017, Beacon Park is a creative use of the 1.2 acre space formerly occupied by a parking lot. Situated in the Central Business District nearby the headquarters of DTE, the park is home to music performances, local markets, children’s events, and more. The park features the restaurant Lumen Detroit and holiday events such as the Swinging Bells interactive art installation. The park has garnered over three million visitors since it first opened.
