Sound Board

The MotorCity Casino Hotel is home to Sound Board, a 1500 seat concert venue that opened in October 2008 with a performance by Anita Baker. Sound Board is the only Casino theater in the city, with two levels of seating with two bars each and access to the 100,000 square foot casino proper. Past performers include Motorhead, Jay Leno, BB King, Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Etta James, Patti Labelle, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Chris Tucker, Adam Ant, Boyz II Men, Daughtry, Chick Corea, American Idol Live, Jo Koy, Margaret Cho, Rick Springfield, Kathy Griffin, The Jacksons and 3 Doors Down, among many others.
